My desjardini sail fin tang is visibly bloated and not eating. She is swimming very slowly and hiding in the caves of my tank. I would send a picture, but it hard to capture a decent picture with her hiding. My tank parameters are all very normal. Salinity at 1.024, temp at 79, cal at 450, Kh at 9.5, Mag at 1300. Ammonia at 0, NO3 between 0 and 1, and phosphate I'm not sure. I read on another thread that maybe she has constipation. Any thoughts and treatment advice?

I read someone's account of this very same thing happening. It happened to his tang or foxface. It stopped eating, but then it resolved after a couple days. Ended up happening again month later and I think he lost the fish. It seems like an Epson salt bath helped, but can't recall to that degree.

Thanks. Any guidance on how to do an epsom salt bath? Catching the sail fin is going to be tough. The tank is a 120 with lots of hiding spots.

May be internal parasite(s).
Try praziPro which covers a broad range of internal issues which also reef safe
