Blood shrimp illness?

Looks like some kind of <fan>? Sticking from the left side of his body, also 2 small protrusions from slightly further up the head. Parasite? Disease? Pistol shrimp damage? Dark photo I just took 11pm

really hard to tell from the pick.. looks like algae. these guys molt all of the time.. so maybe a molt will clear it up.
