I’ve always liked blood shrimp but could never keep shrimp in my displays (aggressive fish). I recently set up a 20g long invert qt/frag tank. Would a blood shrimp do well in a tank like this?

My fire shrimp thrives in my mixed reef with my yellow coris wrasse and clownfish pair. As long as you dont have any non-reef safe wrasse that eat inverts you should be good

I had a blood shrimp, scarlet skunk cleaner shrimp, and a peppermint shrimp in my Coral QT tank (20g long) for 90 days before moving to the DT and they did just fine. The peppermint shrimp is still in there for aiptasia control; going on 4+ months and he seems to be doing fine. I feed a small amount of Hikari Seaweed Extreme to make sure he doesn't look at munching on any coral..

do better in pairs
