One of my blood shrimp got a shave. Should I be worried? Will they grow back?

How'd that happen? Is there a predator fish in the tank?

No idea. It's been fine for months. There have been no new additions to the tank. Then, one day, it just doesn't have whiskers. The other one is fine. They were bought as a pair 6-7 months ago.

A list of your livestock might be able to help us determine a culprit. It's very likely that it's an existing livestock - even if they haven't pecked at the shrimp for months. It will grow it back with time.

Current livestock:
1 Yellow Tang
2 Clownfish (Amphiprion)
1 Mandarin dragonet
1 Tomini Tang
1 Madagascar damsel
1 Black Axil Chromis
1 Coral Beauty
1 Kaudern's Cardinal
1 Orchid Dottyback
1 Azure damsel
Tank is a RSR 625 (5x2x2).

There are quite a few things in the tank that could've done it. Dottybacks and cardinals can be pretty mean to shrimp sometimes, I would imagine damsels are too. I doubt any of them will try to kill your shrimp - unless it has freshly molted. Wouldn't worry too much.
