Blotched Anthias Spits Out Food

Hi all, I have a question. I have a trio of Bartlett's anthias and one Blotched anthias. Everyone else eats mysis shrimp but he seems to catch it and spit out. I tried other foods like R.O.E and cyclops doesn’t care for them. He super active and alert. Any other food ideas that I can try to feed him? At this point I’m just shooting in the blank

pieces could be too big? that’s usually what my fish do when they spit food out. they do this repeatedly until the pieces get smaller

The problem with this little guy is as soon as he spits it out he never gets back to it

Where do you get the calanus?

I get mine from my LFS, but it's the PE Energetics brand (they also make several types of mysis).
