I would still quarantine. They do their best over there at LA, especially in the DD, but they are not perfect. Plus some fish don't react well to shipping.

What's the simplest way to set up a quarantine tank? Thanks!I would still quarantine. They do their best over there at LA, especially in the DD, but they are not perfect. Plus some fish don't react well to shipping.

Your fish is absolutely beautiful!take this with a grain of salt, ive had my borb for about 6 months now. i too take a serious gamble by not QT'ing my fish(i just dont have the space for another tank at the moment) and knock on wood my fish have been fine. given the space i would 100% QT a fish like this. they are very timid and wont eat at first, it did not help that one of my first fish in the tank was a yellow tang who kept beating up my borb with her tail spines. after about a week though she backed off and they are now the best of friends lol. he eats like a pig and i had him on pellets but foolishly introduces him to frozen foods and he will not eat his pellets anymore. also mine happens to be a major bully now too... i put in two lyretail anthias and he killed the male as soon as i took him out of the acclimation box. then i tried to put in 3 tiny green chromis and his bullied them to death all within 48 hours. idk other peoples experience with a bullying borb but id maybe try to put him in your tank last. otherwise its an awesome fish with an awesomely quirky character that loves being the center of attention in my tank. this is leñard
