Someone told me that blue acropora dont need alot of high lighting like the rest of the acro's. Just seeing what ppl thoughts are before i move this guy higher in my tank. The acro is already half way up.

Why move it? It looks happy where it's at! Good PE and all!

These are from today, the last picture was from 1-13-15. Do you all see the back side like its brownish. Its weird to me but second time at acropora corals. What does everyone dose to boost there growth.

+2. I supplement AcroPower. Where you think it's brownish might be because the backside isn't getting the same direct light. It's more shaded

I wouldn't call this an experiment until you actually do an experiment. I say, let it grow a little longer then frag off two pieces. Mount one near the top of your tank directly under your lights and mount the other near the bottom of your tank. My guess is that the one near the bottom will maintain a browner/greener appearance, the once near the top will get bluer, and the one you leave in the middle will maintain a green base with blue tips. Give it a year and you'll have your results.

What is that BTW? ORA Joe the Coral?

To address the first thing the OP said, no not all blue Acroporas need low light. A. tortuosa is a good example of a high light blue Acro. The corals color does not determine light requirements. I just wanted to squash that myth now.
