I have a few super blue acros now turning green. They are under LED and look happy and heathy. I wonder if it is because LED, needs more light (placed higher)' or it needs trace elements like Red Sea colors D. Anyone has an idea?

I thought I remember reading somewhere that LEDS can lead to color change, but mostly with Zoas if memory serves correct.

if they are under good led i doubt they need more light... what kind of leds? also what acro?

I am thinking its alk a bit high, now 9.6. They used to be blue when alk is 8.0.

I run my alk around 9.5, my buddy runs his at 10, we both have awesome blue acros..

Just saying led or MH does not mean anything about more or less light. I mean cree are putting out 2x the amount of light per watt than some of the other leds and MH. I'd say you really need to know how the light changed when you changed lights. Did you have a 10k MH and move to a much more blue light? The other thing about leds that is a huge factor in how the light can be different from each other is the lenses if you have any. As long as the alk is stable I don't see a problem with running a higher alk.

yes it happened to me too few SPS.

I noticed it takes time for SPS to get use with (mines AI SOL BLUE 50-70-70* high peak 5 hrs*) LED and changing back to normal colors..I uses to run low 8.5 alk...when i raised it to 9-9.5 and im starting to see color slowly coming back..

Im planning to increase high peak to 6 hours.

I guess all of your tank/light are different.
