have one of those rare blue agave morphs from reef pets. Was doing good. However, was not growing well. I decided to move it closer to led's and it closed up. It has been getting smaller and smaller. I have since moved it lower in tank. I am thinking its done. It still has color but has shrinked significantly and hasn't opened in a month and a half. Params are great, it gets a lil hot in vegas, and tank has gone over 82 a few times. The temp has mostly been between 80-81, though. Any chance for this polyp? or is it done?

Give it a short dip in revive like 2 to 3 minutes and place in a medium flow/ med light area of the tank, best I can think of.Good luck might be to late hopefully not though

I would look for zoa eating nudis.. this happened to me when I started to loose all my l.e. zoas..

i have the same agaves, when i frag them 2-3 out of 10 will do this... dip, good flow keep on the bottom till strong again...

Maybe too much light. If it's still around after being closed for a month and a half, it'll probably recover (I've had some zoas closed for two+ months and came back strong). Just leave it be in a half shaded area. Once it starts opening back up again wait another month or two until it's really happy. Then, start moving it slowly to higher light. Yes, lower temp might help as well. I keep my tank at 76 and everything is doign well.
