Blue anemone ID please

So I picked up a new anemone a couple of days ago and was told it was a bubble tip but I have my doubts (still, couldn't pass up a blue bubble tip). To me it almost looks like a rock nem (tentacles are more of a perimeter skirt) but it's much too big. The stalk is pinkish red with green speckles near the top. It isn't doing great right now, but it is still new to the tank. What do you guys think? And if it isn't a bubble tip, how do you care for this type? Should it even be in my tank? Pics on the way. Thanks guys, sand dwelling huh? Just coincidentally I have him in the sand against a rock so that's good. Any reason it would be bad for my reef (like I said this was sold to me as an bubble tip)?

They get really big 20”. How big is your tank

I have a 125g (60" long) tank. Couldn't believe the lfs was selling a 7" blue nem for $50

+1 lta...but is slightly bleached and will most likely not keep that color. Since you say its blue i would lean toward a purple original color.

Ya I'm not shocked to hear that at this point. It's been 4 days and it still hasn't attached (it did grab the rock a little but has since let go) or eaten. I've got it in a low flow area where it isn't blowing around, anything else I can do to help it out?

Dig a hollow in the sand under a rock preferably ledge like and place him in there. Should help him feel more secure.

Well over the past 2 days it has deteriorated quickly. Yesterday it turned itself inside out and today it looks like this (see pic). One of my fish even took a bite of it. Should i get this out of my tank asap, or give it some more time? I'm pretty unhappy with the lfs at this point, they sold me a bleached long tentacle and and called it a colored bubble tip. My fault I guess, I had my doubts about it being a bubble tip the whole time and should of went with my gut.

The only place ive found cipro for sale is online through thomas labs.
