Blue Barrels.

I picked these used barrels to be used as A saltwater mixing container. They previously were used as a container for storing Hog Casing. The barrels do have a distinct meat order lol
the bottom of the barrels have an HDPE stamped with the number 33.

Hdpe is fine for a mixing container.

now the meat smell. I have pickle buckets i use for waste water. They still smell like pickles for like a year lol.
 
The barrel itself is fine. To help get rid of the odor, you could try filling it up and then dumping a couple boxes of baking soda in it. Let it circulate in there with a power head for a couple days, dump and rinse well. You could also use a bunch of carbon in a reactor - I have an old canister filter I use for stuff like that - just pack it full and let it run at the same time as the baking soda. That should help. Time is your other friend.
