Curious if anyone has seen berghia nudibranches turn blue like this. Picture don't really do it justice it is very blue.

Berghia typically show the color of what it eats into its body. Aiptasia are usually varying shades of brown from light gold to rust, but I have seen Aiptasia with blue faces so that may be a possibility.

I have seen them blue-gray when very well fed (similar to how your picture looks on my monitor), but not true blue as you describe. I would agree it probably just reflects the color of the Aiptasia it ate, some larger aiptasia can show iridescent blue-green color on their face. There is another species Berghia coerulescens which has blue cerata with yellowish tips, but I do not believe this species is in the hobby at least in North America. Regardless those Berghia look plump and healthy.

I would be very curious to know the source, if you don't mind sharing this information?

I wish I knew how to ship because I have 20 or 30 blue ones like that. I am in Chicago.

The aptasia has like baby blue patterns on the face and are fairly large

Yes, that color is what I have seen as well. In my case it isn't all of the Aiptasia, but the blue-faced Aiptasia just show up sporadically.

I went to a guys house for a tank break down That I was taking everything and when I got there I was surprised to see his very neglected tank full of these blue ones. At the time I just hoped the nudi ate them and turns out they do so it worked out well for me starting my aptasia farm that is now 90% blue face :)

Step 1-expose Aiptasia to mutagens.
Step 2-select unusual color variants.
Step 3-rename them 'Ultra God's Rainbow Totallynotaiptasia'.
Step 4-PROFIT!

Only problem is you will need to change your name and get out of town quick once your fantastic new species starts taking over everyone's tanks.

I mean designer Aiptasia could be a thing, right! Of course, phosphorescent Aiptasia would be even more impressive so maybe you can breed that into the blue strain?!?

Thanks all for the responses. I knew it was a berghia just never seen one get anything other than a very faint hue and this one looks so dark blue in person. Got 5 of them in a Tupperware and this is the only one that got any color at all.

I got these about a month ago from @keatonmjenkins

They were all much smaller(just as they were advertised), but they have grown a lot in a month

They typically reflect that shade of blue with also some hints of yellow that make them look absolutely stunning!

The colouration variation as mentioned earlier is all to do with feeding. Berguia nudibranch food requirement can be easily determined by its colour.

Very well feed - blue
Enough food to survive - brow
Starving - white

it’s fairly common to see them in the brown and white variation as breeders always struggle with keeping up with the Aipatasia demand.
