Any feedback before i drop in

Have blue velvet nudibranxh was going yo drop in now to help take care of flatowrm issue

180g aquarium

i lnow i will need to pass it onto a fellow reefer

Is this a bad decision dropping in or not?

I am not sure the nudibranch will ever reliably get 100% of the flatworms. Have you looked into something like prazi pro or flatworm exit? You could likely be free of them in 2 treatments.

Bubble bee snails go after flatworms. Dropped a couple in my nano and after a few weeks flatworms were significantly reduced.

I hust get paranoid

plan to watch tank

Its 180g mixed reef

that if i miss it dying and dont get it pulled out it would destroy entire tank from toxins

Many wrassy eat flatworms. In over 17 years I have always had a sixline wrasse and never saw a flatworm. I know that I couldn’t have been lucky enough not to have had them get in but my fat wrasse must have made quick work of them.

My sixline does not go for the flatworms on my glass, the smaller ghost ones. they are getting out of hand so im considering a blue velvet nudibranch.

I don’t know if this helps and it is just my experience. I added Berghia nudibranchs to my tank and when their food supply was gone they were out and about even during the day. I watched my sixline ignore and swim by one on the glass multiple times. But each fish are individuals. I’ve read many posts about reef safe fish that weren’t and fish that weren’t but were. I would confirm with the vendor.

Appreciate it, im considering getting a few 3d printed and putting them in there to see if i get a response
