On Christmas eve while cleaning the glass on my 38, the mag float broke loose and knocked a turbo snail off the glass, unfortunately the little guy didn't make it and I found hermit crabs having a Holiday feast this am. It just died last night. I had also done a 5 gallon water change with my normal ro di salt mix that had been mixing for 24 hrs yesterday morning too. All over my other corals, zoanthid colonies and even finicky frags, torch, gorgonian, mushroom and monti are all open and fully extended this am but the Cespitularia was about 50% shrunk this am and now maybe 40% . I removed the dead snail, added about 4 tablespoons activated carbon to my hob. Tested all parameters and everything seems spot on salinity was down from .025 to .0245, dosed reef fusion after testing this am. (Cesp was deflated before this). Should I just let it be and wait? Do another water change? Thoughts? Its never deflated before since arrival 6 weeks ago.
