Can someone give me idea's and or help on what to do with this coral that's starting to get out of hand.
I should done more research first on placement but it's to late now. Is there a good way to get it off the rocks. I thought the Anemone would bother it but that dosen't seem to be happening and it's going to get out of hand.

I've never grown that coral but it looks like it has a mat like structure on the rock, maybe you can peel it off like green star polyps? That's a nice tank BTW

can you pull the rock? Remove the rock, cut off what you want to trim off (or the whole thing) and put a kalk paste over the remnants on the rock. I would frag it and sell the extra pieces of trade with my LFS.

It's a nice looking coral and the horizontal growth is really cool. Remove the lower stuff and stay on top of trimming that cool part on top

If I could keep it in one place and control it would be good I think but how do you do that as it is going go everywhere I think I might be better just taking it out. Don't Know

Send some to me! :D That stuff does tend to be a bit tough to pull off in my experience. Any pieces left can grow back. It’s a lot like Xenia.

I believe it is Xenia. That stuff would be around after a nuclear explosion. You have to isolate that coral to it’s own rock or your whole tank will be covered with it in no time.

Yea that's what I'm seeing. Just need to know the best way to go about removing it

I have pulled a rock out and scrubbed Xenia off with stiff bristle brush with good success. I had also put the rock in a 50/50 peroxide/tank water solution for a couple of minutes after I scrubbed it. I’m not sure if that had any effect on my success removing the Xenia but man that rock was clean lol.
