Had mine in my tank for around 5 months but noticed it was nipping at my sps and the tips on my stylos are all going. Not due to parameters or anything, I've watched him do it. Left all my acros alone. Fed plenty frozen and got plenty of fish to clean etc.

Since putting him in the sump all the stylo has grown back. Anyone had any experiences of the same or similar?

Never heard of cleaner wrasse not being reef safe, although there is a false cleaner wrasse out there, Aspidontus taeniatus, that mimics cleaner wrasse but feeds on fish’s flesh instead of cleaning. Idk if that fish also eats corals but it’s prob worth a look.

Do you have a picture of it? The Red Sea cleaner wrasse (Larabicus quadrilineatus) will eat SPS. Worst fish I ever bought.

I've never had any of my normal cleaner wrasses eat anything except off of fish or in the water column.

I've not got a picture but it's a true blue wrasse. The mouth is at the tip rather than under the jaw. I could be wrong saying eating my sps. Just caught it a few times (cleaning/nipping) at the tips of the stylo. Since I've taken it out it's healed. Dunno weather to try adding hin again or just get rid..
