Has anyone else had the blue coloration on their Acans fade to green or even pink. They still look great and are healthy and out, and even reproduce, but they al lose their blue coloration. It has occurred on a number of colonies and happens relatively quickly, within a week to ten days and has occurred under both T-5 and LED lighting. My water conditions all are all at the right limits, so I am curious as to whether anyone else is having this happen and if anyone knows what causes it to happen? Thanks

All my rainbows either turned red or orange. Someone mentioned it was caused by using a 12k bulb. Are you using lots of blue light? The reason I ask is because you're having the opposite color shift compared to what I'm experiencing.

Yeah I have been using a lot of blue light. Probably close to 20Ks under the t-5s and now Kessil LEDs

What are your parameters? Have you tested your potassium level? Potassium plays a important role in coral color. Can you tell us what you are dosing and your test results so we can help.

Salinity 1.025, Alk 9.6, Calc 480,Phosphate .04, Nitrate 10, Mg 1320, Potassium 380. Dosing Lugol's iodine, Strontium, Acropower every other day and Zeo Sponge every day. Corals are fed a variety of foods twice a week. Lighting on Acans was t-5s under ATI reflector. 3 ATI super blue, 2 Daylight and 1 Fiji purple. Colors changed under those and now switched to Kessil 350s and colors changed just as fast under those. Thanks and let me know what else you need.
