Blue coral banded shrimp gone

My lfs guy convinced me to buy a blue coral banded shrimp. Beautiful shrimp. Put him in my tank and he took off into the back of the tank behind some rocks. Haven’t seen it since. It has been a few days. Is he dead or just hiding?! Anyone have experience with these shrimps? I thought they would be out more.

They are normally nocturnal and hide during the daylight.

Got a glimpse of the shrimp. It least he's still alive!!!!

On another note cleaner shrimp molted yesterday.

Kids: "dad!! your shrimp died!!!"

Last week, kid 1 came running into my office, letting me know that"Chong" died.

Kid 3 then came down that Chong had a baby....

Go up to find a fresh molt.

I've not seen my coral banded for weeks at a time. Seems normal.
