I dont think she is sick. Looks healthy. She has been moving small pieces of rubble all over the tank and fanning the fine sand with her tail alot. Why is she doing this? I have a 28 gal. JBJ, 1 Royal Gramma, 1 shrimp, 1 snail, 3 crabs, and a few corals. No male in the tank. Is this just something the Damsils do to keep busy or what? I do love watching her move things around though, LOL. Could she be looking for food? If you know what she is doing please let me know. Just curious.

Mine does that too. Just arranging it's territory or decorating it's house I guess. :)

Thank you for your reply. I was hoping that was the case. At first I thought she was making a nest, LOL. My husband said she must be lonely. She keeps the Royal Gramma to the back of the tank.:whip: She want all the front to herself. I wonder if I got a male, if she would fight him, or he her? Be my luck and they would both set up house and want the whole tank to themselfs and kill the Royal Gramma.:squigglemouth: Oh, well, thanks again for your help. Have a great day.

My blue tang does that when its close to feeding time. Go figure.

It might just be a nervous thing they do when they want food. I'll watch her and see if she does it after she is fed. Thank you for your comment. Have a great day.
