My uncle got me one for my tank yesterday, and it's been very social with my clownfish (thankfully, since I heard these are one of the more aggressive damsels) ;Nailbiting. I fed my tank some mysis shrimp this morning, and the damsel ate maybe two of them. I threw a few pellets thinking it would like those more, but he just spit them out!! Now for the past two hours, he's been picking the ceiling in one of the "caves" in the tank that's covered with tiny feather dusters. He looks like a lil piggy just picking away lol. I was reading some sites that said they require two feedings a day, and others that say feeding every other day is fine. Can anyone that has one tell me how you're feeding it?

I have similair species like the springers and starcki damsel and the springers are fed once a day andthe starcki is fed 2 or 3 times a day.
What do you feed it? Also, how are your nitrates? With this him in the tank now, I'll be going from feeding every other day to twice a day..;Dead

The tank i havethe springers damsels has quite high nitrates, im not sure why but i dont mind as its a softie tank like generally 20 or so and in the tank with the starcki they are normally 5-10 ppm.
I feed a cube of mysis and brine/mysis/plankton/copepods/prawn betwern the 2 tanks, and a cube of mysis to the starcki tank in the morning and sometimes another in the evening

Alright, thanks. Also, have you seen them eat feather dusters before? I got a closer look, and he's definitely eating them, sometime spitting out white dust from the calcium tube.
