Blue eye bristletooth tang color?

Purchased a blue eye bristeltooth tang-looks like it except tail is not the yellow i see in pics…is that juvenile color with yellow tail, adult color?

right now he is all dark…

How long have you had him? If new might take him a little to simmer down and color up.

I just thought they had yellow tails looking at pics online

He sisnt have a yellow tail in store-and have only had a couple days

Mine is 18 months old, just getting yellow tail now, guessing it’s a maturity thing.

Edit - rather I’ve had him for 18 months and he was a tiddler then.
