Blue eye tang with mark on its side

Today, I noticed a new, white mark on my tang’s side that wasn’t there yesterday.
I have an anemone in the tank and it spars with a green chromis. But, other than that, I can’t think of anything other than perhaps it’s sick.
Can anyone identify? It looks like a white ‘scuff’.

This looks like a bump or scratch which is Not superficial and one that will heal on its own. One nice thing about saltwater fish is their ability to heal and quickly and this should do just that. Do however keep an eye on it to assure its in the right direction and no tank mates are attempting to pick at it

Do you happen to have a blenny? That mark looks very similar to the marks my blenny leaves on the glass when I haven't cleaned it for a few days.

No blenny. But, I do have a blood read fire shrimp.

Yeah my tang gets a mark like that when he hits a rock it happens your fine.
