Hey all. Working on my 125 grow out. Wife's green lit a 240 at least upgrade for the fowlr. She wants a blueface, and daughter wants a emperor. What's the lilelikely of getting 2 juvinile smalls, for the 125 and then go to the 240. Is it a poaspossibi St all to keep these 2 successfully, also survivability rates for juviniles to adults? End tank size? Is 240 enough for 2 large angels?

First off they tend to not be very friendly towards corals and prefer extensive Rock work.

It has been reported that the blue face is best suited to being the only angel fish in the tank because it will become territorial if it is the largest fish in the tank.

Some members may grumble at me but I see nothing wrong with getting small juveniles and temporarily putting them in a tank smaller than what they require as adults as long as you are able to put them in the minimum requirement size before they are adults.

This Is a fish only system so no coral. I have reef tanks of smaller sizes, this system was.littereally for a large angel one day. So in order for success would need to do both at same time?

I am no angelfish behavioral expert or anything. Lol but if it was me I would add them at the same time.

If you can't add them at the same time possibly put the blue face in first and within a month or so put the emperor in. From different things that I have read Emperor Angel tends to be the boss of the tank

Ideally add them simultaneously and as juveniles. It may even benefit you to put a diveder in the tank for a week or so, so that they can each have their own territory and settle in without the added stressor of a rival.

Oh it would by far be at the same time. Into a dark tank and over fed for A day or 2 for sure. What would you recommend for final tank size?
