Blue Film

There is a blue thin film like material growing on the side of one of my rocks. Attached the best picture I could take. Any thoughts on what it might be? Thanks

Hard to tell with that pic, but could be several things. Blue sponge, or Coraline algae. Both are good things.
Definitely a better pic will help make a firm diagnosis

Is it mostly on the underside of the rock?

We bought 3 pieces a few weeks ago. The shaded sections look great and are growing quickly.

The one in brighter light isn't thriving as much.
Couldn't decide if it was a flow difference or the light.

Yes, it is growing on the underside of the rock in a shaded area. I will try to get a better picture.
