blue/green chromi coloration

I've noticed that since day one, my chromis will have these patches of blue/green on them. its almost like a military camo pattern. Is this supposed to be normal?

Chromis are masters of coloration change. The coloration can change with lighting and temperament, and stress.
How long have had the fish? What Chormis type, and please provide image if able.

It's a blue/green chromis that I've had in the QT for about 35 days now. I've noticed it for a while on both my chromis. I tried to get a picture, but they don't come out very good at capturing the color. It's just got like a military camo pattern of blue/green.

The blue green Chromis is supposed to be Chromis viridis. But there are other related species that look very similar like the black axis Chromis. I believe that collectors just grab and ship. Also as noted above, fish change color with mood.

i know they change color, but mine have these blotches of color. the still shot of the youtube video in my post above shows a chromi w/ the same blotches on the left.

Ok I see the blotches. Uremiais is the first disease I think of with Chromis.
I wonder if it could be flukes.

i treated mine w/ general cure for fluke.

i treated for fluke the following way

day 1, general cure
day 3, metroplex (1/2 does into water, 1/2 dose mixed with food)
day 5, metroplex (1/2 does into water, 1/2 dose mixed with food)
day 7, general cure
day 9, 11 metroplex (1/2 does into water, 1/2 dose mixed with food)
day 18 api generael cure
