I used to have 6 of these guys in my desk tank. Slowly, they have been knocking each other off. Nipping at the weaker one's fins until it cannot swim anymore and becomes crab food. I should have done more research before I listened to my LFS and bought the group on their suggestion. Lesson learned. I have read a few threads where folks are wondering if it was something "they" are doing wrong or if the Chromi's are sick. I can assure you, it's just how they are. I have a unique vantage point from my desk in where I can watch the activity in my tank throughout the day. It's pretty clear what's going on in there. I can almost guarantee that in two-three weeks there only one left standing will be the biggest, strongest one in the tank. I'd give them away, but my tank is 300 gallons, they are incredibly fast, and the depth of the tank makes catching anything small a challenge unless you have really long arms and a snorkel. The clowns however don't take any crap and hold their own. No worries there. So, for now, I rest easy knowing our large decorator crab will eat well over the next few weeks. Circle of life.

Are you sure its not the Damsel or the clowns? I have 5 in my 1100 gallon tank and they swim around together all day without ever harassing each other. I have had mine for months with no issues at all.
