Blue Green Chromis how many to get

I have a 40 breeder with a clown, sapphire damsel and royal gramma. I want to add one or more blue green chromis. Are they going to kill each other off if I add more than one and how many do you recommend? I don't want more than three. Thanks!

I have added 7 on two seperate occasions. All 7 were added at the same time and when it was all over I ended up with one both times. These were 6ft tanks with plenty of rock and swim room. My recommendation would be one based on my experience.
