I seem to hear conflicting reports about keeping blue/green chromis.

Do they get along okay in a group of 3 to 5 (they'd be in a 100 gallon, 5ft long tank) or will they eventually kill each other off until there's only 1 left?
(I like how they look, the price, and how they seem to swim all around a tank but I'd feel bad if they'd just kill each other off until there's only one left.)

I have 6 in my 150 and they seem to get along just fine, pretty docile actually.

I kept 3 in my 125 for about a year before I broke the tank down. Started with 7 I believe. Not sure if they were getting picked on or just in poor shape. I am going to with anthias this time.

I kept ten in a 180 for about 24 months every few months one would disappear and i would add another. I suggest keeping them all the same size.

There will be only one.....in the end... Not many can keep them in large groups, unless in a very large tank, for some reason.

Thanks for the info everyone.
I think I'll not even try having them.
I hate seeing fish die needlessly.

Im thing about keeping about 3- 5 of them myself when im done with my bigger tank but i do hear very mixed reports as well. I will still try my luck tho and pray they all get along!

I have 3 black axil chromis in a 120g, I bought them as blue/green but they developed the axil spot as they matured. They have been housed together since January 2013.
The biggest one has started chasing the smallest, not a huge size difference. That's been going on about 4 months. I am probably going to have to remove one or two.
