blue green chromis...

I need to hear more about this. 5-7 times a day!?
When constantly fed you will see the aggression drop dramatically. In nature they eat far more often, much more like anthias. They will survive on a 1 or 2 feedings schedule BUT they will kill off the weakest until late only 1 survives.
Wll, I''m picking the feedings up...

Chromis are known for uronema, but my theory is that they are super sensitive, stress very very easily, and die from Hypoxia or Respiratory Failure.

This morning I only see one...after this, one survives or its over...
It's amazing how much your experience has mirrored mine. In less then a week I lost all 5 of the chromis I had in QT. It seems to play out this way over and over again. Either they all do fine, or they all go.

I have 7 in my 250g all fat and happy. Got them in 2 batches. First batch only half survived. Second batch 2 weeks later all survived. Have had them for about 3 months no issues. Feed them 1-4x a day. Usually big frozen cube amount (4 cubes) in morning then drop pinch of flakes throughout the day. Have total about 20-23 fish in tank. Havent had any casualties in quite some time.
