Blue Grudgeon Dart Fish QT

I got three Blue Dart fish last week. They are in my QT. I have a rock and sand and had some PVC pipe in their for them. For the first four days they would only come out of the pipe to eat and then disappear. I removed the pipe and they are now hiding in a burrow they dug under the live rock.
My plan was to watch them for a week or so and dose Prazi in the tank. I do not think I am going to FW dip them- in talking with my LFS- they told me that Dart Fish are hard to QT and do not do well with FW dip or Copper.
My long term plan was a long period in the tank with observation and feeding. If I see any issues I will move to a treatment plan.

I know the concern with the rock and sand becoming a harbor of meds- so if I need to go to that- I will move them to a bare bottom tank I have.
My current thoughts are to reduce any stress and keep them eating. However, it is hard to observe them when they hide all day.
Should I remove the rock?
Anyone else QT'd Dart Fish ??

They, like other fish need "cover" to make them feel safe and reduce stress. Low light over them as well.

If you need to treat them, remove the rock but replace it with pvc. A screen top would be called for as well to keep them from jumping.

Thanks- my current QT is a Bio-cube 32- so they are secure. I think I will treat with Prazi- but that is it for now. Trying to keep them well fed, might try some live food as well.
