Blue heart coral banded

I got a blue heart coral banded shrimp and a trapezius crab and acclimated them in the same bucket. The crab ripped the shrimps arm off during acclimation. Found the shrimp cruising around a week later. Will the arm grow back?

Yes after a couple molt cycles they will grow back. Might have trouble feeding in the meantime though, so keep an eye on it

Others will know better, but if I recall what I’ve read on R2R, shrimp and crabs ‘grow arms and legs back’ as a result of one or more molts. Certain water parameters can facilitate the molting process. Can other correct/add to this answer? Many thanks.

Update. The shrimp molted the other day and now has two red and white arms. Woohoo!!
