Ive had three turbos since my need for a clean up crew, after first cycle about four months ago, and have added a blue tang about a week ago. The other day i saw the tang snap at a snail whilst it was grazing the rock near the tangs hole, and didnt think much of it, then yesterday i saw a snail fall off the rockwork and land upside down in the sand, when this happens i turn them over for fear the blue leg hermits would have their way with the snail before it can recover, well the snail never moved, and this am i tried to stick him to the glass or the rockwork and there is no response to touch at all (usually they stick right away),
my water params have always been zeros across the board since first cycle and ive managed to keep the water chemistry as clean as possible,
now i have two questions, first is, was the tang the culprit or do the snails just die sometimes for no reason,
and second should i leave the snail in there and possibly compromise water quality, or should i remove it
