Blue hippo sick?

So started seeing my blue hippo missing some parts of his rear fin a while back and assumed the cause was from the pair of clowns nipping at her when she got close to their eggs. Fast forward a few months and noticing more of her fins deteriorated. Water parameters are on spot , nitrates are a lil high around 25. All coral and other fish including cleaner shrimp are happy. Any help would be appreciated. Started adding garlic guard to their food. Been feeding pellets since tank was setup 2 years ago.

From the pictures it looks just like fin nipping

But it’s hard to tell picture isn’t the best

Is it bottom fin missing too or just the tail

The top fin is also missing spots. On her body theirs patches of color that seem to be almost transparent.

Are you saying you’ve only fed that Tang pellets for 2 years??

Yes I saw that wasn’t sure if that was picture or actually there.

I wouldn’t feed pellets.

I would feed nori and frozen mysis to your fish

Pellets cause nutrients levels to go up over time imo

Pellets and flakes, I tried nori on multiple occasions and she wont touch it. Even after different methods of introduction. I even left a piece on a clip for 2 days and not a single fish including the hippo touched it. I'm guessing some frozen food should be next based on your response. Is the lack of meaty foods causing those issues

No not a lack of meat. It could simple be Fish is getting beat up or running rocks

Hippo are very skimmish , especially at that age

Yes if they never seen a fish eat nori sometimes new tangs take s while

Buy a clip and just leave s little piece in there eventually they will learn its food

I have been trying to transfer her to my bigger tank but cant seem to catch her due to her hiding in a cave in my huge rock work. She does hide In a small cave that I'm sure isnt big enough anymore.
