Blue hippo tang and ich?

Do all newly introduced blue hippo tangs get ich? I'm considering one but nervous about it getting ich.

No they do not. The fish is already battling it, and the stress of being put in a new tank always it to get a hold, or there is ick in the existing tank.

If you QT your fish (( which you should do )), shouldn't be nervous.

Ick won't just pop up out of thin water, it has to be already there (( you can't always tell )).
