I recently got a baby blue hippo tang, it’s around 1.5-2 inches. I plan to find it a new home when it reaches 3-4 inches. How long you think that will take? It eats a lot. I
Feed 2,3 times a day. A mix of live brine shrimp, omega one marine veggie, frozen copepods mix, and a frozen mysis shrimp/ krill/ spirulina mix. I don’t feed a lot just like to give my fish a variety of food. Occasionally I feed pellets, Omega one. Those are a little to big for the tang so I also got imagitarium marine pellets those are small, she also loves them.

That would depend largely on what size he is in now.
In a 30g, maybe a year, 60g, maybe 2 years ish.....
This one was 1.5” three years ago, now he’s 5”.
Nori, on a clip and whatever else you have is fine.

I got a 2" hippo back in July. It's now closing in on 3.5".
I think the 1-2 year estimates are pretty close.

Take care though, I have heard numerous times baby blues tend to have a high mortality for whatever reason.

Thanks for the advice! My
Next question is going to be how would I go about catching her? I have a bunch of caves

In a 32g, drop your water by half or so, that will limit his movement options, then refill of course.
Two nets, one to guide, one to catch.
BT will spook, will jump, so use caution.
