Blue hippo tang

So I was told today that it’s rare that my blue hippos black doesn’t connect to make a 6 anyone else have a tang that doesn’t connect?

I just did a quick image search for blue tang and it doesn’t look terribly uncommon.

How old is it? I wonder if it will connect the older it gets. I googled blue hippo tang and a ton of pictures come up similar to yours.

I’m not sure the age I got her 2 months ago she’s about 6inches long
