So my buddy is giving me his 3 blue hippo tangs for $120.. they are each about 6-7” I’ve kept one before and I know the typical ich issues and all that stuff. But what I wanna know if a 210 gallon will be ok for them.. they were all raised together so he won’t part them. One also has HLLE so can i help fix that at all or?

I would never put that many large tangs in a tank under 400 gallons. There is just too much of a chance of aggression, either to each other or to other fish

They are currently in his 125 gallon idk. I mean my pap had 4 of them in 220 gallon. He never had an aggression issue. I’m more worried about their size tbh.

Yeah- I have one 9” in a 180 and he has aggression issues with anything over 5”

I think its fine if you put them in together. If there arw issues later on, you can deal with them. It seems as is they are getting a tank double the size. Go for it.

I feed my entire tank 3 of those cubes a day, he eats about 1
