Blue Hornet Polyp Detached

Just got a blue hornet and everything was doing great...then I just checked and it was gone off the plug...was a little flimsy when it was on there...

Is it dead? or could it grow where it landed? cause I cant find it...

It could grow where it lands and it should be fine if it lands where there is light.
