Blue hornets not opening much.....

Hi guys its been about 2 weeks now and have moved them to low flow, high flow, low light, high light medium light basically all over trying to get a spot they like. No such luck. Could it be something else? All other zoa's and Paly's are doing great.....

Mine do well in lower light medium flow. Check for asternia starfish. Everytime i have had blue hornets the asterinas like to try and eat them

I did a hydrogen peroxide dip just to be sure....

I find my hornets (all types) close up when pushing up new polyps

mine did that too for a few weeks i don't know if its a seasonal thing but now they look ok. as long as they don't melt you should be ok.

Blue hornet is low light zoa and moderate flow. Try to avoid moving them too much.

Yes very finicky IME. Low light, low flow.

Have u checked on the KH and phosphate level?

Never had luck with blue hornet. All my other zoas and play open up great.
