I wanted to make sure these were Blue Hornets before I sold them.

Thanks.

i don't know about going rate but I bought 6 polyps for $30 last night at a lfs if that helps

I would love to see a pic of these. If you got 6 polyps for $30 and they are real, you stole them.

Mike, does that mean they go for much more? I've had them for over two years now and probably have about 75 polyps. I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to Zoanthids.

Definitely not Purple Hornets, his have the tell tale white mouth = Blue Hornets

those are purple hornets, not blue. big difference.

No big difference -

+1

I'm growing my Blues/Purples together on the same rock once the blues get big enough.
Definitely cool polyps to go together.

Mine are identicle except the blues have a white mouth area

Agree with the blue hornets. Seen these in person. White mouth = blue hornets.

Jason, around here they seem to be going more like $15-25/polyp. Online more like $40/polyp. So if you sell local only, you may need to adjust the pricing.

$15/polyp is steal for those! I actually prefer the Blues over the Purples, much more appealing in my opinion because of the white mouth.

I guess, what ever...
here is what I bought as blue hornets, suppose I am wrong in some way, and will be corrected accordingly.

Yeah, those are Caribbean AOI's.

I saw those up as Blue Hornets too. Mr. Coral tried to sell them as that a while back.
A lot of guys tried to do it to capitalize on the name and make a few extra bucks.
