I've had him for two years. Always active great eater but, today I find him laying on the sand. Not breathing hard, he's looking around and color looks the same. I fed the tank, he got up and swimming, ate one bite then just swam around not eating and lay back down. Anyone know what's going on?

Have you made any new additions to the tank? How are the rest of your fish?

I might not be able to help, but having this info will help folks help you :)

No new additions. The trigger was the last addition to the tank two years ago. All of the other fish are fine. No new corals, didn't change salt or foods. Just bizarre.

Ive seen triggers do that at my lfs. I think when they get tired or bored they just lay down. my undulate used to sleep on his side under a flat rock.

That's kinda what I was thinking. He doesn't appear to be in any stress at all, just kicking back lol
