I currently have the following fish:

2 Oscellaris Clownfish
2 Bangai Cardinals
2 PJ Cardinals
2 Blue/Green Chromis
1 Splendid Dottyback
1 Foxface Rabbitfish - (About 5")
1 Harlequin Tusk - (About 5 1/2")
1 Powder Blue Tang - (About 4")
1 Purple Tang - (About 5")
1 Blue Hippo Tang - (About 3 1/2")
1 Achilles Tang - (About 5")
1 Blue Eyed Kole Tang (2-Spot Bristletooth) - (About 4")

These are all going into a Red Sea Reefer 750 XXL. I thought I was done with my fish stock and was planning on starting to get some coral, but my LFS has a Blue Jaw Trigger that is absolutely amazing.

My question is, can I add him to my tank with my current stock or am I asking for trouble?

Note: Before anyone comments that my tank is not big enough for a Blue Hippo and Achilles or that I have too many Tangs...The plan is to add a 300+ gallon FOWLR tank in about three years and I will be moving the Hippo and Achilles over, (if needed). If that falls through, my LFS will take them back and give me store credit.

It would be worth a try if your tank can handle the bioload. Bluejaws are pretty peaceful. I'd be mildly worried about your Achilles and/or PBT not taking kindly to the newcomer, though. No way of knowing that without trying, though.

Trigger wise very good fish... I have one with my achillies and purple tang... They are fine together. I'm fish only though... He might eat cuc...

I already ruled out a normal cuc because of my Harlequin Tusk which is the only reason I am thinking about a trigger. Glad to hear it gets along with the Puprle and Achilles, because those are my two most expensive fish. It would hurt my wallet as well as my heart to lose either of those two. :)

I have a goatfish that does a great job at going through the sand....

I find my two tangs more agressive than the bluethroat.... Lol.. Way more territorial...

I was thinking a couple of sand sifter starfish or serpent starfish, but for now I just plan on vacuuming the sand every other week. I have a few large Turbo Snails that may or may not make it once I add my Tusk to the tank, (we shall see). I can't do Goatfish because I think I am at the limit for large fish, but they look pretty cool.
