Based on the great reviews, I got the Flux RX and dosed the powder directly into the high flow area, turn off skimmers and removed all carbon per the instructions. I understand it takes 10-14 days to see the results, but I am just skeptical it’s going to work? It’s being 5 days so far and I don’t see any improvements. I dosed into two tanks, one has minor GHA and the other one is a lot worse.

just want curious if magic will happen.

Lots of variables but I'll share my experience...

I tried it twice. once at the recommended dosage...once at twice the dosage. In both cases it reduced the algae but did not eliminate it. Within 10 days of dosing the algae was back to where it was. Hope you have better results.

Gotcha. Do you recommend put another dose now or wait it out

Good luck. There seem to be many reasons why it's taken off...but not really any "silver bullet" to getting rid of it. What works for some does not work for others. Some people get rid of it quickly and others struggle for longer. I've had it bad for over six months now and have been working through all the various "fixes" but none have worked.

I had a good deal of GHA in my tank, overflow and skimmer with a Red slime in my return area. In a 15 aio I added 3 scoops of Flux Rx and within a week it was gone. With nothing else getting agitated. I blocked the return area so it doesn't get the light and after 4 months I've been algea free. Until I noticed some bryopsis on a rock. Since I've done quite a few WCs since the last treatment I diluted 2 small scoops and added it in my return last night. By mid afternoon the next day the algea has all but disappeared. Used correctly this stuff is the best I've ever seen to get rid of algea quickly with nothing getting out of whack and it lasts.
