Anyone using this stuff on a consistent basis? Same as GFO or better? My buddy:wink: in cali turned me on to it and likes it alot so I ordered some today-my tank sits at .04 po4 on my hanna right now so just looking for another option to rowaphos-

yeah I just took out a 6-7" unicorn-so maybe that will help=) -guess no one has used the stuff-

I have, and GFO is a poor substitute for the GFH that Rowaphos uses. The Rowaphos is expensive, but it lasts 5 times as long. You can buy granulated ferric hydroxide in bulk from the right distributer. It is used in third world countries for removing heavy metels like arsenic, from drinking water. If a bunch of you go in on a bulk purchase, it gets very cheap, but you have to buy a lot. Look for a GFH distributor.

I use the Blue Life stuff once every other week or so instead of using GFO. My PO4 is .03 on my Hannah and .02 according to aquariumwatertesting.com This is a 130g system with 17 fish. I got tired of spending money on PO4 media.
