Blue lights and white lights: a rookie question

Hello, I am wondering if anyone can answer this question for me:

when creating a lightening schedule, I understand that high-level blue lights are important for coral growth. Using RedSea Reef LED90s, I currently have my lights with an 80%blue and 20% white setting. My question is, if I increase the white intensity to make the colours more pleasing, does that reduce the impact of the blue lighting regardless of it remaining at 80%?

I’m just to be clear, I have no prior knowledge, so please speak to me at an entry level.

It really doesn't. White light, of which is extremely limited in red sea lights, only increases par. That extra par may help algae growth, but algae is not limited by light in reef tanks.
