Do you guys run the blue lights all day with the Whites? I am now but may just go White in the daytime.

Light Spectrum/Schedule.

As you can see my lights come on gradually at 5:45 am, gradually they get brighter till at 11:15 (10:30 + 30 minute ramp) they are at my Max Settings until 3:00 pm at which time they begin a step down gradual dimming Until Full Dark and Moonrise which starts at 8:30 with a 30 minute ramp, so full dark by 9pm.

I just went and took this pic. It's about 4 minutes later than the time shown on the Light Profile.

The sand is so white it triggers the filter and focus on my cell phone. Took this with a S22 Galaxy cell phone with a SeaTorch Coral Filter.
Good Luck, hope this answers your questions.

Thanks for responding. Your aquarium is progressing nicely. I have a Biocube though. It has the three settings...White and Blue and then just moonlight. It does the ramp ups and ramp downs. I was just wondering if I really need Blues on during the day. This is a FOWLR set up.

I changed my lighting in my Biocube to a AI blade grow 12”. I took out all stock leds and fan , cut the tabs and inserted and mounted the blade with 3m Velcro strips. Lights are all app controlled on Mobius.

Sounds sweet! you know how it is though, the aquarium is only 3 1/2 months old so really don't want to scrap the set up yet, however, it is a great recommendation for the future.

Mine ramp up with full whites on for 5 hours, blues are on but I can’t tell unless I lift the lid, and ramp down. Because the colors of my corals pop under more blue light I prefer the blues over full whites.
