So we have two Linhkia starfish in a 125G reef tank with corner overflows. The blue linkia has decided it would be a grand idea to climb over the overflow and go in between the two layers of the overflow. I think it is attempting to eat more sponges in there.
So here's the question... How do I get the starfish out of the overflow?
As far as I can tell there is no way to take the overflow apart to get it out. The overflow looks like it is permanently siliconed to the tank. I attempted to snag it with tweezers when it was at the top, but I ended up missing it and it fell down a bit to where I couldn't see it.
My wife is worried as it is her starfish. I am thinking it will sooner or later come out on its own. Any thoughts?
