Blue Maxima Clam issue

i have a 150g tank. My blue maxima clam all of a sudden has an open mouth. Is that ok or a sign of illness? I’ve only had him 5 days

can you give us a photo, generally clams have two openings in the mantle, one that looks similar to a tear but its a 'intake pump' and a sort of nozzle that is its 'output pump'. Can we have a photo to know for sure?

Unfortunately not looking happy. Appears to be pulling away from the shell near the mouth. All you can do is keep params stable and hope. And its only been 5 days he was probably already on his way out. Sorry.
