From what i've seen from others i think it has to do with the light spectrum it gets, more specifically high UV light. but i dont know if thats been confirmed yet.

i tried turning up my UV and moved my existing bounce up higher (it had its own rock) it dropped a couple babies and melted away which was unfortunate but after i moved the rock back down a (noticed a few weeks later) looks like there’s two babies one with small bubbles
hopefully it recovers
