Blue (off charts) mmonia reading. Only for kicks.

Just had some of this water coming from LFS in this container. Initially ammonia test was yellow as it should be.

Today had a look at the container and found some dead stuff. Did an test for ammonia just for kicks, and boy! It's off charts!

Could only imagine the importance of bacteria in a tank!

When I worked at a fish store people would always come in complaining that we sold them sick fish, then we test their water and it looks like this lol

I’ve never seen a ammonia test to turn blue .
nitrite is blue .
but ammonia generally goes very dark green when levels are high .
that’s insane .
